SUZANNE O'CONNOR

 Suzanne graduated from U.T. Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and served her residency in the Fort Worth area.  She obtained her certification from the American Board of Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics in 1997.

Ms. O'Connor has been licensed since 1999 in both Orthotics and Prosthetics by the State of Texas as is the O & P Services Inc. facility in Dallas, Texas. Through continued educational development she earned the prestigious level of Fellow in the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2004, renewing in 2010. In 2009, she was honored to be included in Cambridge Who's Who for executives, professionals and entrepreneurs.

She values education within the field of orthotics and prosthetics and has served as a clinical rotation site for U.T Southwestern Prosthetics-Orthotics program since 2007. Clinical rotations with students entering the field allows her the opportunity to share her many years of experience and expertise with future practitioners.

From 2011 - 2018 she served on the Executive Board for the Texas Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics. In August 2018 she fulfilled her current position as immediate past president.

In August of 2011, she was selected by the Texas Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics to serve on the Definition of Orthotics AD Hoc Advisory Committee to assist with defining the scope of orthotic practice within the state of Texas.

In 2016 she started volunteering with Prosthetic Promises in His Name traveling to Zambia to help with orthotic and prosthetic clinics with other practitioners in the DFW area.
